It's been a great week, but also very challenging it's something I've wanted to do for a VERY long time. Of all the years of forum posting I've never had a place I could call my own and be my own boss
, sure posting indie and retro news threads was fun but apart from the sticky at the top I was never able to spread so far out on the net.
I've always given you guys the latest news and made a lot of friends on ocuk and other places, yeh i've made a few enemies but that will always be in life. Because of what happened recently I thought it was time and not next year to get the ball rolling and really kick the Indie/Retro stuff up a notch!
Here it is http://www.indieretronews.co.uk
It has everything I've ever done here and more, the entire site/blog was developed by me and it's getting a lot of positive feedback. I did have some teething problems at the start and I still will i'm sure. But it's also good to have another ocuker on board, Good ol MissleMouse
. I'm not leaving ocuk, i've made too many friends and I did mention the site to both ThundyCat and CaptainRave they both seem to like it.
What's really needed though and i'd prefer to have ocuk guys doing it, we need a better background that fits with the layout/colour scheme. More news contributors and reviewers of Indie and Retro Games.
