It's been a great week, but also very challenging it's something I've wanted to do for a VERY long time. Of all the years of forum posting I've never had a place I could call my own and be my own boss :p, sure posting indie and retro news threads was fun but apart from the sticky at the top I was never able to spread so far out on the net.

I've always given you guys the latest news and made a lot of friends on ocuk and other places, yeh i've made a few enemies but that will always be in life. Because of what happened recently I thought it was time and not next year to get the ball rolling and really kick the Indie/Retro stuff up a notch!

Here it is http://www.indieretronews.co.uk

It has everything I've ever done here and more, the entire site/blog was developed by me and it's getting a lot of positive feedback. I did have some teething problems at the start and I still will i'm sure. But it's also good to have another ocuker on board, Good ol MissleMouse :D. I'm not leaving ocuk, i've made too many friends and I did mention the site to both ThundyCat and CaptainRave they both seem to like it.

What's really needed though and i'd prefer to have ocuk guys doing it, we need a better background that fits with the layout/colour scheme. More news contributors and reviewers of Indie and Retro Games.

Bookmarked, and welcome back o/

Thankyou all makes the hard work all the worth while!

Will say this though, you guys didn't see the original background and colour scheme!. It was so retro that anyone visiting the site was hypnotized and sent back to the 80's :p

Also don't forget I am looking for reviewers and news contributors, others that love Indie and or Retro games. If you're not such a great reviewer but still want to join in the fun by just posting the latest indie/retro updates then I'd love to have another ocuker on the team!.

Surely i'm not the only one who keeps an eye on the latest releases? :D

looks much better mate :p

I'd offer to help out with reviews but much of my time is taken up by Gaming Irresponsibly. If I can help I will though :)

Thanks UncleRuckus, I was going to use adscene but adscene refuses to work because of the RSS feeds.

New Article up!

I understand completely!, i linked our site to yours in appreciation last week. But you are more than welcome to come over as a part timer in writing Retro Reviews if that doesn't clash with your boss
