Usually would go grab some lunch- most of the time I'd bring it back to work and eat and read the online paper. Or if able to meet a friend then would stay out for the hour.
I don't really have a 'break' I eat my dinner at my desk but if I am in the middle of something I will carry on, it's not like I don't spend half my day surfing the web in anycase.
We get docked half an hour at lunchtime whether we clock out or not. It's illegal for the company not to give us a break and it's our choice if we keep working.
I get an hour for lunch - I walk around various parts of Manchester City Centre, I work in Deansgate so anywhere around there, went to the Arndale today, Spinningfields yesterday to vary it. Listening to music to pass the time.
Supposed to have an hour for lunch, but don't have anywhere other than my desk or car to eat at which means I don't really get a break as I have to answer the phones if they ring.
I get an hour for lunch, sit in the canteen with the same people every day, majority are 20-30 years older than me. But we do the quiz, beating old people is awesome. Especially when there's a few Doctors in there (Not of the Medical kind, but chemists etc).
Most people would get bored after 15-20 minutes, if you take a shorter lunch and get more work done then you can leave earlier.
I'm perfectly happy eating at my desk to save time, giving me more play time at home. However,r I could take 2 or even 3 or 4 hour lunch break if I wanted to. Heck, I could take something like a 12 hour break, but prefer to get work done and get home.
