I've just noticed that on BBC Four tonight at 8 o'clock there is Horizon: A Guide to the Universe.
It is really weird that we are an almost impossibly small part of something that is beyond immensely large and infinite, that is still constantly expanding at billions of lightyears. It also shows how insignificant we are compared to the vastness of the universe, but so far unique in it as we know.
I love all the comparison things about on the internet comparing our planet to other worldly bodies it just blows the mind that such things on insane scales exist, but it also makes me sad that in our life time they'll be nothing but images
