Agreed just play the game and you will be fine. Expect to be given reshows for no reason.
Ah, I'm sure they'll still want them 'polished to a high shine'.. To be honest, I'd be surprised if they still didn't get a black pair to go with the lightweights, unless they just use the FAD shoes..We got 3 pairs of boots anyway. We have a few lads just getting into phase 2 with the new brown boots. They look loads better than what i have. If your wearing your brown boots at the ranges and on battle PT they will get really scuffed on the toes so i doubt you would bother getting them polished too good for inspection but who knows.
Scoff is ***** lol
it is. the gym wont acclimatise you, its just so your fitter so you can recover better from the heat stress. last time brize gym just signed me off, its not that essential. They want me to run around the gym for 7 weeks to acclimatise, sounds like a lot of ******** to me.
If i was to do my PTI course will it mean I have to work in the gym or can i carry out my regular job?
Also look at doing AT. You are essentially getting paid to go on holiday, learn some new skills and it's content for your SJAR. You can then look to develop the skills learnt to become an insstructor and lead AT events yourself. A popular one is Mountain Leader. An excellent one is Skiing. Get yourself up to ski instructor and you will find yourself inundated with requests from units across the country requesting you take their lads skiing
