I recall there was another thread like this before and I thought it was a great idea (even better is to create a sub forum that bans agencies and has heavy rules like 2000+ posts before being allowed to view... but I digress).
Considering most companies have rewards for staff bringing more staff and there are plenty of people on here that are looking for new jobs it makes sense for us all to be friends and help each other out.
Simple rules, job info and location.
I'll start...
We are looking for a Linux and Windows Web Operations/System Administrator with several years experience. You need strong/advanced Linux server admin skills and know your way around Microsoft Server 2k8+. Specific technologies include NGinx, HAProxy, Debian/Ubuntu - a scripting language Perl/Ruby/Bash, working knowledge of networks although you are not expected to be able to do network design or setup a Cisco router from scratch. You need to know what automation is and have experience in it.
We are based in Shoreditch in London at the "Tech City" or "Silicon Roundabout" not far from the Google Bonhill offices. We are a technology company with a startup culture but have been around for over 8 years now. More than 50% of staff are technical, there are just over 100 of us in London and some marketing in Europe and sales in San Francisco.
