picked up my 2012 Revelation RL 140s tonight.

look in mint condition gave them the once over re set them up and they seem fine. They came off a 2012 Zesty 514. Seem a bargain for £200 now i just need to buy the Bandit frame.

anyone know were i can get a new cable guide from?

Supercow you are on for one hell of a stable!

The 650B thing is coming in, I imagine 26 will be around in some capacity thing for years but a lot of brands are going 650B throughout their trail/xc range coupled with 29ers, they are truly here to stay.

That said I quite fancy a go on a Bronson and SB66 650B equivalent.

Transition Bandit 26 with rockshox monarch for £1250

or

Nukeproof Mega TR with monarch for £1000

both medium the nukeproof is black only at this price i wanted yellow. After seeing BaJ's Bandit im really liking it.

Well... Fitted my Charge Spoon yest and took the SS2 out for a spin around Cwmcarn! This saddle is sooo comfy.. best £20 I've spent! No more numb bum :D

Still couldn't get the Superstar seatpost to tilt enough! Gonna have another go on the weekend.

I'm biased as I picked the Bandit :) Should have mine built up by the weekend ... finally! :D

Is this the Mountain bike thread that use to be here then? Can't seem to find it.

Anyway....

Shoes, what kind of shoes do i need because my feet are hurting after using my Adidas taekwondo trainers. Not bothered about anything expensive just yet, bought some MuddyFox gear from Sports Direct for pennys the other day and they had plenty of cycling shoes.

Didn't know what was what though, neither did the staff. So just left it for the time being.

Anyone recommend me anything up to £30 please? Preferably from somewhere i can grab them from (sports direct, JE James) :)

Thank You :)

Anything with flat thick soles if your wanting cheapness. Think skater shoes, though if your doing crazy xc distance then you might want something a bit more waterproof and less heavy.
