Probably not as good as stock M4 pads then :D

The stock m4 pads are awful though. I've got superstar sintered pads in my Tech M4's and they're much better than the stock organic Hope pads. From using them in Mono M4's they weren't noticeably different to Hope sintered pads.

They're not that bad, they get a bit stinky under hard prolonged braking though :D

I guess all I've really done here is reveal how personal braking styles make pads feel different to different people..

Used two sets of the Superstar Kevlars and they were good, still have a set in my rear M4 and is seemingly powerful and lasting quite a while.

My friend had some in his 6 pots and they were awful. EBC or OEM is the way forward, or if you can find them Carbon Lorraine pads are usually stupidly powerful.

^hopefully you had atleast 2 litres of water/mix + a tsp of salt, and a multivit pill or two, works for me.

but you but but yeah, 30c is way too hot.
4am 25c in my room here hmm bit clammy urrggh

Got my old tank riding just perfectly for me at the minute. keep contemplating some Fox 34's 160mm but I have a feeling ill make it front end heavy.

Strava is my favourite. there are leaderboards for the best times popular cycling routes (mainly hills and trail centre paths, but lots of other routes as well). It's useful for giving you motivation and keeping track of your progress (because you compete against your own previous times as well as other people's times) but doesnt really give a lot of information.

Something like sportstracker or endomondo would be better if you prefer bucket-loads of stats and graphs and things.

Strava here too. Mixed with ViewRanger for free OS maps.

edomondo is good but kills battery life, you get more stats and gps maps than you can shake a stick at
Battery life on my S4 seems to be pretty decent so far, and as it's a new phone I've been playing with it lots!

Will check out Strava, I don't need too much info to be fair, just how far I've ridden, elevation, calories maybe (for The Mrs), not really fussed about beating times on repeat rides though.

But I bet so far you haven't had anything enabling the GPS and keeping it on ;)

GPS uses a lot of power getting signals from all those satellites
.

well endomondo is as simple as you want it.

the main website page for your profile only shows basic stats like
Total workouts: 27
Total duration: 15h:10m:02s
Total distance: 72.2 km
Trips around the world: 0.002
Trips to the Moon: 0
Average speed: 4.76 km/h
Average pace: 12m:36s
Calories burned: 6232 kcal
Burgers burned: 11

and the route statistics are like
KbAvWbG.jpg
the numbers on the map showing where I walked are mile markers. I guess you don't get them when cycling as it's not really important to know your time for each mile
lol max speed and avg speed are clearly reversed :P Guess there was a bug in the build I used for that walk it was probably 2 years ago
BTW that was walking I used to use endomondo everywhere I went no matter how far :D, on that occasion I must have walked to a bank in the city centre and then took the scenic route home though the park

you set it to the type of exercise you are doing on your phone before each session it's as simple as you want it to be and I don't think you get all the competitive stuff unless you pay for premium which I think is 2.99 a month?

Lovely bike and colour. You on 1x10 there?

Need to clean my five and post a picture here. There seems to be a lot of hate for the five though on various forums

picked up my 2012 Revelation RL 140s tonight.

look in mint condition gave them the once over re set them up and they seem fine. They came off a 2012 Zesty 514. Seem a bargain for £200 now i just need to buy the Bandit frame.

anyone know were i can get a new cable guide from?

Great forks you won't be dissapointed

Just bought a lidl special. £20 bike rack for the Swift. Like bike stand...Seems fine enough for occasional use.

If its like the stand there is no way I'd trust my bike on it without some serious beefing up.
You get a car for the bike not a rack for the car :p

Heres my bike rack
