There will be 38 Barclays Premier League matches exclusively live on BT Sport. The first 13 are here:

channels will also show live FA Cup, UEFA Europa League, top tier live football from Germany, Italy, France, Brazil, Australia and the USA, plus action from the FA Women’s Super League and 30 live matches from the Football Conference.

I've had a BT phoneline for as long as I can remember, hell I think Busby himself installed it, and I get my broadband via Plusnet (which is a BT Group owned company) and yet I don't get squat.

You need a BT login, which you should have from signing up, to watch the web player. Try it. You don't need BT broadband itself.

There's an app and stuff too.

I'm using it and I don't have BT Broadband. You have to pay (for the Sky package for example) if you don't have BT Broadband, but that's obvious isn't it? As Cosimo listed above.
