I have friends visiting at the moment so I have next week off for camping, hiking, and all sorts, so I imagine the week will go really quickly.

Being at work on the 17th, knowing you're all at home playing it is going to be tough, but I'll be happy for you. I really don't think I'll have the willpower to stay away from reading/watching things about the game on the day though.

Looking forward to this. Booked the week off work which feels a bit geeky but I don't really care I haven't told anyone that the sole reason for having that particular week off is for GTA :p

I think I'll probably do the first one or two missions and try to get my self sucked into the story but quickly just go around exploring, seeing what's possible etc.

Does anyone know if there's any cheats out yet, I'd love a separate save game when I can just run rampage with unlimited rockets and parachutes and stuff?

There will be cheats, it's GTA lol...

but none have been confirmed just yet.

I did something I don't usually do and went REALLY ghetto. I managed to get an old style 60GB (2009 model so not one of the older awful ones) with a few games and a controller for £50. Warranty seal was still intact so no risk of using a RROD repaired console.

I can't really complain. GTA is going to be epic.
 
hi folks

my 360 doesn't have a hdd, been checking google to see if i can use a usb stick as gtav needs storagespace and it seems so, question is does anyone do this and is it comparable to hdd.

You can yes, just make sure its a decent branded one as the cheap ones tend to be slower. You can get 32GB ones for £10 these days, check HotUKDeals.
 
Gosh I really want to play this but I personally cannot justify spoiling it with low settings on a decade old GPU.

My need to play games with cutting edge graphics outweighs the need to play it early.

Therefore, I'm going to wait patiently for PC release.

Lol considering all the screenshots are from pS3 it looks pretty good, why wait six months plus when you can play in 10 days
