xfx's rubbish rma aside, it is a nice looking card
i dont think i like the new reference cooler much, i know the red lights up etc, and maybe it will look nice on a asus board, its not exactly classy tho is it :p

looking forward to seeing some evga designs and i guess gigabyte will go the usual windforce, hope they keep the black pcb atleast

"launch of the R9 290 series will be tightly controlled by AMD (i.e., don't expect non-reference designs for a while)"

why do they do this? if its even true

Thanks for explaining Gibbo and if that was the case you know what.... i totally support OCUK's decision to pull the cards!. My current card form XFX has been fine so farand the one before this was so it must have been a recent problem i assume

@Others

Whilst i know dual fans aren't new i just think the cooler design is so much nicer on that that what we usually find on coolers.

Its a nice looking card and looks a lot better designed than their previous coolers. Looks doesn't mean much to me though once its inside my case. As long as it performs well and is quiet then im happy.
