Baby girl names

I always wanted Jessica for a girl, although when pregnant with my son I met a another couple on our ante natal course who we have become close with and they named their girl Jessica. Although we will still use it if the time comes

For some reason, Seren was really popular when we were choosing a few years back.

We went with Cerys though. Other half wanted something welsh, I wanted something I could pronounce. This was a good choice!

I like Selena/Lena (my gran's name), Cassandra (obviously shortened to Cassie) and Arissa (will be the name of my next cat).

Can i make a sensible suggestion in GD?

My mate and his wife put a load of names up on a wall on post it notes, every day they each took one name down they absolutely didn't want, by the time their daughter was born they had one name left that both of them agreed on.

As for us, we struggled and had got it down to 3 possibles but Eloise just suited her.

Not saying who but some of you have given your offspring terrible (pronounced trashy) names! Poor kids.

To the op I say remember you may think the name you give them as a baby is cute or sweet but they have to live with it potentially for the rest of their lives.

Make sure you check that their name is available on GMail before deciding.

Have you thought about making some money out of it? BetFair Smith sounds like a lovely name and probably fulfils my above criterion.
