I only used the VPN to unlock the game and then closed it down. I running the game on my own connection.

Yes you do, although on CJS CD Keys you can buy everything together for £64.99. If you do that you will get given two keys, one for BF4 and another for the premium content

Nope. Deluxe gives you a couple of perks (unlocks) and 1 DLC ("Get China Rising plus three bonus Battlepacks").
You would still need Premium to get early access and all DLCs when they get released, and other perks like server queue jumping etc.
I personally don't see the point in Deluxe if you're going premium.
