I have an POV Nvidia 470GTX and can get my hands on a second hand POV 470GTX for £45...

Is it worth me getting that or if I sold my single 470 what single card would I have to replace it with to get as much bang for my £ as two 470's?

I want to weigh out the costs... 3D and Video work and some light gaming.

I would say not worth SLI but if you don't mind turning settings down because of the VRAM limitations in games, £45 will be a cheap upgrade.
 
Light gaming is playing CS:S occasionally when bored so not overly fussed gaming wise, primary use is 3D and Video work on two 24" monitors. Thanks dude

Ahhh, then in that case, go for it :) CS isn't VRAM demanding and it will give a boost to 3D rendering.
