Feel a bit sorry for Bournemouth because they were excellent in the first half and should've had a penalty but we played far better in the second half and it's a potential banana skin avoided. Really worried about Tuesday now though, if that's the team we have available we're in trouble because so many of those players don't compliment each other.

Skrtel & Toure - Individually they're fine but there's no composure or ability on the ball when they play together. Really need Agger or Sakho back ASAP to provide a better balance in defence.

Gerrard & Henderson - This combination is absolutely woeful. Neither are good enough to play the holding role, neither can control a game from deep and neither know when to go forward or stay back. The loss of Lucas is absolutely huge to our season and he needs replacing now.

Edit: Can't believe how short we are in defensive positions at the moment :(

Yeah Henderson and Gerrard are our only fit CM at the moment, it really is quite shocking. We need to buy 1 or 2 in the this window, or get a loan in atleast.
 
That was a very very dull flat performance from us, glad we won of course but as mentioned above gerrard/Henderson don't work together it's like when England managers try force gerrard and lampard together it just fails. Alberto and aspas should have started as much as I don't rate aspas at all Suarez needed a break as did countinho
