Yeah poor Gilly voted in the rival supporter section. Do any Man u fans still view Leeds as a rival? Sure they might hate them but rival for what? :p

That poll option confuses me. I can't tell if it's serious or if the "keep him - genius at work" is sarcasm because he is bad.

and sell Rooney.

can't tell if serious?

Rooney and Mata will be fine, they just need a striker who's willing to run in behind, they have no one like that. Javier is there obviously but he's offside all the time. Man U must spend 10 mins each half waiting for the opposing team to take their free kicks from him. You look at Liverpool for example, Sturridge/Suarez/Coutinho/Stirling all have pace and the bit between their teeth..that makes a huge difference on the pitch. Even Chelsea who have strikers that have been criticised for not being good enough in front of goal still have Torres/Etoo willing to pull the defenders around with their pace.

We are all hoping it isn't sarcasm and the United board check these forums for our opinions.

Hopefully the people in charge and are like Frank absolving Moyes of blame

"If we can go through it would be a massive lift for us," the United boss said.

"And we'll do everything we possibly can to make that happen. We'll leave nothing behind on the night, hopefully, and we'll try and make sure we somehow get through to the next round."

Unwavering confidence.

:/

I think that getting rid of RvP and getting in someone like Diego Costa would be a great idea but I doubt we have any chance of doing that without champions league. I would like a quality striker with a lot of energy and a great work ethic.

I think part of our issues this season have been that we are so sluggish and static in attack most of the time that oppositions are based far to high up the pitch knowing that we won't counter attack with any venom.

That is of course only a tiny part of our problems however and I still think Moyes is problem number 1.

Simeone and Diego Costa is the latest rumour. I'd love that. Just Simeone would do. :p

Can we get a new thread(Poll) to see who is lying(we aren't like chelsea!!!!!)/stupid now?

Up to the Dons really, but I'd like to see that.

No - you build the next team from this summer around Mata behind Rooney and if anyone is to be sold - RvP (and get in someone younger and healthier)

So Rooney is now your striker and Mata is the 10? or you going with 2 behind the striker? How many players aren you going to have to buy to adjust the formation to play like that? Where do Kagawa and Januaz fit? Out on loan?

By my reckoning you have 3, maybe 4 1st team players that are worthy and dont need replacing (De Gea, Rooney, Mata and either Kagawa/Janwhatever). No CL football next year so you are either buying from teams that are in that Competiton, or from teams that your competitiors (if from this country) so your going to be paying over the odds in Transfer fees in addition to paying way over the odds in wages with Rooneys new pay packet..

Are you happy with essentially confirming Rooney is at OT for life?

In short, buying Mata and giving Rooney a massive pay rise has opened a whole new can of worms, in addition to David Moyes being the manager of manchester Utd. By the way, give him more time, let him build the team in his image, you've got far too many players there with no desire..4 more years for Moysie!!
