Google-Motorola "X Phone" in the 2013 pipeline?

There will always be something with better 'specs' due out.

However, right now, for me, the moto x is the best handset out there.

Yes the specs are lower than the flagship handsets from other manufacturers but the overall user experience and features are second to none (for me)

Take the plunge. You'll not be dissapointed.

Think of it this way, there is very litlle between this and the N5 in the camera dept., but this has SAMOLED - Game Over :D

Yup, the display on the moto x is much better than the nexus 5, nexus 5 is a bit washed out imo with not so great viewing angles, n5 is sharper but I find it very hard to tell the difference unless they are right next to each other, also I LOVE the activ notifications, if I got the nexus 5 I wouldn't be able to use the 3rd party app since the screen is LCD so battery drain be very high :(

Yeah I don't care about the specs as much either now (moto x specs are still powerful enough), especially since I got the nexus 7 2013 a few months ago so hardly use my phone for anything other than the usual stuff, camera and a bit of browsing every now and then when out and about.

Not sure on the battery drain on the third party nexus App. i presume the motorola uses one of the low power cores to do the active notifications

Yeah, the moto x default way has virtually no battery drain due to AMOLED screen and using the low power core.

I am using the 3rd party app on my one s which works great but since the nexus 5 has a LCD display, the drain would be much higher thus I just have to use the boring old RGB NLED :p :(

I tried out a Nexus 5 and the build and screen seemed fairly naff, wasn't impressed. It's decent value but as ever, you get what you pay for.
