Anyone who buys last of us having already played and completed on a ps3 is a total mug

Nonsense. LOU ps3 still goes for £25-30 new and £15-20 second hand for a start, and in addition the new version will have a significant graphical upgrade as well as including all of the DLC. Left behind costs, what, £11.99?

I finished LOU on ps3 and quickly sold it as I was moving on shortly to PS4, so I never touched the MP nor have I played the additional story content. Given that I anticipate paying around the £35 mark for it upon launch I think it's quite reasonable.

I think also with 'remastergate' whether you're a keeper or a seller will contribute to how you feel about it. I bought LOU, played it, loved it, then sold it for the same price I bought it for meaning I effectively had the experience for free. If people buy games and then just leave them in the cupboard depreciating in value (which people have every right to do of course) then the purchase of a remaster will be accompanied by a feeling that they are buying something which they've already paid for, whereas I don't feel like that as in net terms I'm sat at £0 if that makes sense.

Plus, it's TLOU, if theyre going to remaster something, this is it.

It is for me. There is hardly any games worth playing atm that aren't part of a franchise released on everything else already.

What did you expect though? We all knew what games were coming out between launch and right now, you're hardly going to get a developer surprise everyone by releasing a AAA game without any prior warning.

Most of the people moaning about a lack of games presumably got caught in the launch hype and bought one without really thinking about whether there was enough that they wanted to play on it.

I'm new to PS4. Got it to play the last of us. Was thinking of another Classy 780 but this was cheaper. 1.7 actually made my rumble work!

Obviously their first rodeo. :D

This I don't understand. ps4 has actually got quite a few games to play. I look over psn or online stores, and I can find quite a few titles I've not purchased yet but would like to but got enough to keep me going right now.

each to their own.

Agreed theres 3 in my basket at the moment but am not sure if i should or not as the likely hood of them been added to the ps+ in the coming months would just tick me off. AC Freedom Cry, Daylight and Outlast WB out of them 3 games which ones are the save bet to purchase now :(

Not really. I'll be buying GTA5 on PS4 and PC after already spending hundreds of hours on PS3.

Edit: Couple of questions.

How does the automatic recorded gameplay work? Can I not view it once I exit the game?

Can I disable the pop up that says something like "Stopped recording because.. cutscene, or whatever" then after the scene it "Recording begun after cutscene"[/QUOTE]

Watch_Dogs on PS4 Runs at 1080p, 60 FPS According to Sony’s Pre-Order Page; No Mention on Xbox One’s Page

Looks like Watchdog's is being much more assertively marketed for PS4. Xbone must be running this @ 720p then. If you have both consoles. The PS4 is def the pick for multiplats. If you have a decent PC obviously that would still be the better experience. Looking forward to this in 1440P myself.

Ubisoft has kept the resolution and framerate combination of Watch_Dogs a secret until now, but on the pre-order page for the game on PlayStation official site something quite interesting has appeared, as you can see in the picture below.

The site boasts that the PS4 version is “the True Watch_Dogs Experience” and mentions clearly that it runs at 60 frames per second, 1080p, which is something that was never specifically mentioned before.

I find I rarely notice dips unless it drops below 30. Digital Foundry did a ps4 HD test article today. Basically not worth doing unless you want more space.

Its being co-marketed by Sony, which is probably the main reason why the XO version isnt as featured in the PR - Im looking forward to the superior version of uPlay myself :p;)

Came to the same conclusion after using a 1TB SSD in my PS4, I switched to 2TB HDD 2.5" drive and it still seems fast and is very quiet. Most importantly was very cheap. OCUK were selling them for £79 not long ago. Got the 1TB SSD in my main PC now, ideal for large games like Titanfall and BF4 etc.

Def think the PS4 is the pick of the console this gen, though if I'm honest (XB1, PS4, Wii U) are all very underwhelming from a hardware perspective imho. This seems like a 'refresh gen' rather than a 'next gen'. Almost a stop gap until Technology advances again. PC is going to get so much further ahead so much quicker this time around. Hopefully we get some more capable consoles sooner rather than later, although 1st party dev's will put out some pretty games, they could have been so much better imho. There are still some games I'm looking forward to, but none seem really next gen to me..

I wonder if it will be a constant 60fps or will suffer dips.

It'll be Tomb Raider 60fps. It can hit and do 60fps, but mostly I wager it'll be av 50fps.

I think we all know by now, Ps4 for multi plats and its exclusives and X1 for exclusives if you own both. I think everyone knew watch dogs was going to be better as in res and fps on PS4 and the fact Sony are marketing it as so is hardly here nor there really. The gameplay will be the same regardless of which one you play it on, just on PC some with the grunt will play the game at 1440p and Ps4 at 1080p and x1 at maybe 720p - but the game will play the same anyhow..

Although, upon saying this tomb raider was actually better on Ps4 then my PC - go figure.!!
