What Slippers Do You Wear ?

Decent mens slippers are virtually impossible to find due to gender coding 'manliness'. Womens slippers are soft and fluffy - a wrapper of loveliness about ones feet. Mens slippers are swathes of scratchy hardwearing cloth to travel the distance between the couch and the fridge.

Barefoot or socks.

Whilst I'm not a total hater of slippers, I do generally think they are completely unnecessary.
 
We have, at last count...9 pairs of slippers/house shoes between the two of us. 2 furry ones each, one for each bathroom, one for the balcony and 2 for guests. There's probably more somewhere else, I've lost track of what random things are filling up the various cupboards now.

I always get shouted at for not wearing them and leaving footprints anywhere, but it's impossible to find any that actually fit me feet comfortably here.

From years gone by, I used to love my polar bear slippers as a kid. Thinking about it now, it does seem a bit weird to have been stuffing my feet in to their hollowed out bellies, but they looked cute hugging my feet.

A few questions. Do you leave your walking around slippers outside the bathroom and switch to your bathroom slippers when you enter? Do you have a lot of guests that require slippers during their stay? Also, do you have sweaty/dirty feet that leave marks everywhere?
