I want to put a H100i into a ITX Corsair Obsidian 250D, I understand there are better options than the fans it comes with but I'm not sure what they are. I'd like as quiet as possible whilst still being up to the task at hand.

Whilst I'm on fans I may as well replace the one on the front of the case as well again for as quiet as possible. I believe the front will take 120/140 or 200mm. I'm not putting fans on the back.

Can I have suggestions please?

I'm using Corsair SP120 Quiet editions. My 4770K @4.5GHz (1.26v) rarely breaks 60c with them running at 65%

Depends on how effective you want the new fans to be. The stock fans are perfectly adequate with a CFM of 77 and a status pressure of 4.1 which are only matched by the Noctua Industrial fans.

There is no reason to switch the fans despite them sounding like a hair dryer on boot. Your best option would be to create a custom fan curve using Corsair Link, this way it uses the coolant temp to regulate the fan speed, not CPU temp. Mine run at 350-400 idle touching 28-33 deg and 800-1000 rpm under load hitting 55-60.

I would suggest the corsair sp 120 quiet editions unless you have a fan controller than use the performance editions instead.

Any reason why you dont want rear fans??

The reviews I've seen indicate there is no point using rear fans as the space works as a natural exhaust anyway, in addition more fans = more noise. The older I get the more intolerant I'm getting to noise.

Looks like the Quiet SP120's are the ones to add to the list then, thanks guys.

Don't bother buying the quiet editions fans, you can control the normal ones within corsair link.

The stock fans are essentially the same, just no coloured plastic rings.

I see what you mean looking at the specs not worth swapping for so little difference.
