GTX 780 windforce psu watts

hey i was wondering would a if my OCZ OCZ600SXS2 StealthXStream II
would run a GTX 780 windforce

also right now i have a old q6600 how badly will that bottleneck the 780? will i see a lot more better fps then it with my 5850?
ofc untill i can afford a better cpu ?

Guru3d says you need 550W, but the OCZ as previously mentioned is 4 years old atleast and they do get worse over time.

Q6600 at stock will bottleneck it quite a bit though if its at 3+GHz then it won't be horrendous (game depending).

With my 4820K + 780 GHZ edition I peak around 400watt (draw at the wall) in BF4 and less in most other games - my concern is like stulid said those OCZ "Stealth" PSUs are known to degrade over time quite badly and it might be struggling to be stable over 450-500watt now.

With a Q6600 any performance difference between those GPUs will be largely a moot point.

guess thats the hardest thing about pcs they need changing like every 5 years and arent cheap mmm

400w ono here too with the spec in sig, though mine is the rev 1 wf 780 that uses 1x 6 pin and 1x 8 pin pcie cable. Iirc the rev 2 uses dual 8 pin connectors.

At least you can stagger it in stages, and if you buy carefully you'll always be close to the leading edge.

so what would you lot do? swap my ps4 with 7 games etc for a 780 and £50 or try and sell for around £400 or more and get other pc stuff first?
