** CRAZY LG DEAL: 29" SUPER-WIDE BLOODY SILLY PRICE!! **

Mine is OK, the bottom left has a bit of bleed, definitely looks worse on a camera, but is tolerable, if it gets on my nerves then I guess an RMA will be done.

There is a small amount of backlight bleed on my monitor, however l am happy to live with this considering the price and shear extra's this monitor has.

Great for gaming, and watching films, now that it is connected to my main PC's.

My laptop that l initially used it with was limiting what l could do with it. And the speakers are very good also. (so much so the wife gives me ear ache :))

So more than happy with the monitor and service from OcUK and LG.

(This ones a keeper)

Heres hoping you guys get a good one! :)

Mine is being collected today so probably get my replacement next Monday.

Whilst my second one was nowhere as bad the first, it still wasn't good enough and the dead pixel in the central area was irritating :(

Aside from that, it is a superb monitor, great for games and films.

@Nexus - what did you do...? Ask for a replacement or a refund and then buy new again (and which model did you go for to try next)...?

I kept with the model noted in your link as I love the extendable and solid stand, not sure I like how the base of the stand looks on the one noted in the OP of this thread.

Also the USB 3 hub is useful.

I agree with you, in regards to the price. I know that I would have greater expectations from spending another £100 than I did when I paid £250 for the 29" LG. Also Dell's pixel, as you now know, and backlight bleed return policy is not what some believe to be as sympathetic as expected, but maybe better than that of LG...?

I really hope that you get the monitor that you want, if LG made it ;)

Yeah the stand isn't the greatest with the um65, but it does the job and the height etc. suits my desk. My only gripe with the stand and bezel on the um65, glossy plastic :(

After the response I had with LG about mine, essentially telling me to only use it during the day with low brightness and that it was just standard for this tech., I think any company would be better :p

OK got the Monitor this morning ..and as yet all seems fine....however lol....when I set it to it's default resolution of 2560x 1080 I cant even read any text , No idea why though
