Insurance Company Looking at Previous Quotes

I started doing quotes with fake details when i found out every single one is shown on your credit rating as well.

This.

If you intend on doing quotes with convictions, points or mods you don't actually have (just for curiosity) use a false name and address, removes any risk of the problems mentioned above.

Also regarding the comparison sites , if you declare a claim they'll pass your details onto personal injury claims companies. Aviva told me this when I accused them of passing on my details.

edit/ corrected typo...

had a company tell me I was entitled to £3k for the "accident " I had as I didn't claim for injury (because I wasn't hurt... duhhh!). but when quizzed about the accident as I would imagine they'd know about it...after all they are calling me regarding it

but it was apparently on a ford escort. I did have a for escort about 9 years ago that was broken into...but then remembered a month or so prior to this call I ran a quote to see how much it would cost me being older and more experienced.

just clutching at straws hoping the info they get will lead to something. my problem was I showed a slight bit of interest... he then called me several times each day for about a week and a half after me explaining I wasn't really interested and couldn't talk in work time. :p

damn vultures!

There's one I get constantly called about because they can see that it was a high value claim and the car was nearly written off so they assume someone must have been injured when in actual fact no one was in the car.
