Once again I'm trying to motivate myself into returning to gaming. Are there any modern games like these? i.e. online team based FPS whiuch run for around 15 mins per game? I find it difficult now to get into anything that runs for longer.
Any modern games like Quake Wars or Halo multiplayer?

Very teamwork oriented and is quite polished for a F2P, nice take on the third person genre and ghost recon style/gameplay.
^^ Tribes Ascend is great but its no longer updated which is a huge shame. Still plenty of people to play with.

Nothing that I know of I'm afraid. The PC multiplayer fps scene is utterly dire at the moment if you don't like quick time to kill, spammy, random modern military shooters. Which is a damn shame when you look back at how interesting and diverse it used to be. The closest I can think of that's still relatively current is TF2.
