Again you are just diverting.

Sony know it's not selling like the PS3 and it seems they have done nothing to cope with that extra demand.

I think this is where they are struggling. The PS4 launched with Sony in quite a bad financial position and I do not think they can financially support the huge growth and sales PS4 is demanding.

The PS4 hardware isn't selling at a loss like the PS3 was..

Sony loose money on the consoles from what I have read (could be wrong). The more they sell the more they loose they recoup on the licensing on the games and accessories.

Although Playstation is profitable Sony as a whole is loosing money and quite a large rate far larger than they predicted. Playstation on it's own does not generate enough revenue to sustain Sony or expand Playstation at the rate needed.

Sony (Playstation) needs an investor with a spare few billion $ they can invest to push through the first few years and recoup once the AAA high selling games come along to bring in the revenue.

Or something like that.... :)

And again divert the topic and avoid the issue. If you can show us where Sony have said they are upgrading their servers and backbone to cope with the unexpected demand then we will have no problem.

Not played it since the last time you asked this morning as was playing Wolfenstein if that's ok with you? Do you want me to keep a diary of when I play Driveclub for you?

Even from the outset I think they only needed to sell one game with a console and they were in the black, now that the GDDR5 has dropped quite a bit they should be doing pretty well now.

Of course they are adding servers lol. Jesus.:rolleyes:

Don't tell me you seriously think that they haven't added any since the PS4 launched.....
 
I'm sure the presidents estimates were before they announced the losses of 4 x what they expected. I read something recently that showed they are loosing money on each console I'm trying to find it but failing badly...

Pretty much off the shelf components. Don't get that get in the way of your argument though....

The Playstation division is a separate entity. The other areas of the business do not impact it at the level you have in your head. You really need to get over this as you have pretty much been speaking about it since the last time I checked on Friday.

PSN does need to sort it's self out though. I've not had many issues myself but clearly looking at the posts in here there is lots of room for improvement.
