I am getting around 3500 mb/s on SQ read and 5300 on SQ write... Obviously this is completely wrong since maximum this drive can do is 500....

What is wrong with it? It seems this started when I enabled Rapid Mode.

Have you rapid mode enabled?

That will show crazy results :)

EDIT : You do have it enabled, I stopped reading when I seen the speeds as I knew that would be the cause.

Rapid mode stores stuff in RAM as a cache so you get super speed for some files. It'll basically try and store your most used stuff in free memory. It also writes to RAM, then commits that to SSD so writes are quicker.

Yup, it is THE best upgrade you can make IMO. Couldn't go back to mechanical now. Anyone who says otherwise must literally just use a web browser on their PC, or they're just special :p

I feel like I'm in the stone ages when I visit my friends houses and use their laptop or PC for anything. :D:D

A nice easy test to actually see the difference a SSD makes in real terms is to open the disk management window. Normally a SSD will be instant and a 7200Rpm mechanical drive can take up to 20-30 seconds to open the window. This is with a nice clean install and shows you that the spinup/seek/access is archaic compared to nand.
