390x all the way, had too much trouble with Nvidia cards, i'll stick with what I know works. Should be a nice upgrade from my oc 7970 that i've had since launch with zero issues
Going by history, it would most likely be the case of AMD launch 390x at may be £420-£440, and then Nvidia will release a card around 5% faster to 1up over AMD's flagship, and then put the price tag of £150 over AMD's flagship to the £570-£650 price bracket.390x most likely but will wait to see what nv relese before buying im not to fussed about brand as both have work flawless for me over the years.

Skipping and waiting for either the 1xxx series from Nvidia or the 4xx series from AMD.
Doh meant to reply to this one... if true it would beat a 295X2 with drivers.
