It was an awesome experience. I only got shards and the shader really but I'm happy to have just got a solid strategy down for it!

Apologies for being late Mid Gen.. We got him down eventually too tho :)

Sorry I didn't see your message above until this morning. We didn't manage to take him in the end. It would appear Crota likes to cuddle Zoomee & won't let him go.... :p

Ah no worries, we saw you in orbit for a second so thought you might have finished. We got him down in normal mode after a few attempts, always good to blood a new swordbearer though, Turbo_Nuter did the honors with his Titan.

Got boot for my hunter, and shards....not long til he hits 32 hopefully, just a chest which fingers crossed will drop this reset.

I like the sound of that strategy for HM....it solves the main problem which is the swordbearer running off.

All that sword raping eventually caught up with me. No wonder he insisted on making sure i was dead - Cant blame him ;)

You basically just alternate being in the 2 ogre rooms and take crota when he is left and right instead of when he is in the middle.
 
If anyone needs a swordbearer for Crota HM let me know, I'll be happy to help. Can't tonight, but I'll help out this week.

I use the blink strike/3 down method, worked perfectly for my team. Venom also uses this one!

Ditto. Water Pistol DPS swordbearer team represent! Moon, do you want to try to get 2 HM clears this week too? Can do one tomorrow if you're around?

Tempted to stick to NM once we have all the weapon drops from HM though....
 
I'm up for a couple of HM raids this week on my Warlocks. Only looking to do NM on my hunter until I can get her to 32.

Don't fancy raiding tonight but can be around from 9 tomorrow night and from 7 Thurs - Sun. :)

Was interesting doing the sword for the first time, you don’t realise how much pressure the holder is under until you have a go, I could imagine some of faces pulled on some of the fluffed jumps up to Crota :p Still no blackhammer its turning out to be the elusive weapons like ghorn, fatebringer that wont drop for me
 
Yeah I did the sword for the first time on my warlock a few days ago. You feel the 5 people sitting at the back watching you :P At least it's interesting rather than just sitting there spamming IB/rockets at stuff, really want to get my hunter up to 32 so I can have a go at HM.
 
Crux of Crota is now falling for people. Nice thing about it is it doesn't need to be levelled up - apply it to Eidolan Ally and it turns into a fully levelled Necrochasm with 339 damage. Pity it's still just another high ROF auto rifle, but at least it makes things explode!

Anyone fancy doing the HM raid twice back to back? Both up to Crota then getting him done another day back to back? Seems rest of HM isn't that bad and unlikely to get stuck - its Crota that takes hours if you aren't lucky

Say tomorrow evening and then Friday?
