The home button looks completely fake. It looks like it was literally stolen from a Samsung Galaxy Note 3 and stuck on the phone.

That is probably the max version which may have a finger print scanner, does ruin the front imo but the normal size version doesnt have the scanner (on the left) so no worries.

Yes but that point is lost on the majority of folk here because we know that's not an offical HTC image nor is it claiming to be a genuine representation of the final finished M9, we know it's not kosher but we'd like it to be very much like that.

The code was in the N6, but was removed (some leftovers still linger however): http://www.androidcentral.com/nexus...int-sensor-if-not-apples-acquisition-supplier

Apparently it's due to fingerprint scanners from other suppliers not being as good as the one in Apple phones.

Whoever drew that seems to have taken an iPhone 6 image and stuck HTC on the front.

As much as it looks nice I do hope HTC haven't taken a page out of Samsung's book and just copied Apple. They have some great unique designs and don't need to...

Hmm i'm on the fence with this one, I first seen it liked it then read the leak and they mentioned it was like the iphone 6. I now cannot unsee it!

For me it would have not bothered me if they kept a similar design as long as the black bar went.... or the bezel shrunk.

Bearing in mind that's not even an official image, just something someone made up. We already know they took a Samsung button and stuck it on the front so it's quite possible the guy just took an iPhone 6 image as a base before modifying it...

Other mock ups make it look significantly less like an iPhone.
