Because both of you offer something useful when you genuinely contribute to a thread, and the number of phones you've used helps us all of course.

It's just a shame so many threads get hijacked with the same old.
 
Z3 is fairly clean; Sony's skin is fairly close to stock and the performance is good.

The speakers are also very good (not M8 quality but better than anything else), the water resistance is nice and the display is good - the issue with the Z2 whereby you could see the digitiser has been fixed.

I'd go Z3 if you can or if you really can wait, go for the Z4 when it comes out later this year.
 
The G2 battery life is amazing and the best thing about the device is the 5.2" screen housed in a body no bigger than the Samsung Galaxy S4.

The UI is awful however it can be negated by using another launcher however some elements of the UI would still be visible.
 
Get a Huawei ascend y550 for £44 from carphone warehouse till the next gen arrive.

Would you consider using a cheap second hand phone for two months while you wait for the next flagship devices from Samsung and HTC and the like to appear? That's probably what I would do. I think the wait for a considerably better device would be worth it.
 
I've just picked up a Z2 after my wife cracked my nexus 5, so far very impressed, I wanted the Z3 but couldn't justify the extra cost as the Z2 was on offer for £300 sim free (couldn't find the Z3 new for <£400)

I figure i will be able to sell my G2 for around 150 in 2 months time when the new gen is out :)
 
So strange, I find my G2 battery life to be quite bad. ~3.25 screen on time and barely gets me to 8pm without charging.

And this is my second unit as I had a warranty replacement. I turn wifi off when out of the house and don't use excessive screen brightness.

I also have no problem whatsoever with the UI, using a custom launcher hides the worst parts. I don't use any proprietary LG apps and the settings and quick settings menu aren't bad at all.

All in all it's still worth getting even if my experience is the opposite of most users! - dat bezel, and the screen is fantastic in general

The Z2 and Z3 and pretty much the same, with a new shell really. I have a Z3, and the battery is brilliant. :)

You should really look into getting another replacement as when I had the G2 the SOT easily hit 5 or 6 hours and that was with mid to heavy use although the brightness was turned down to 50%.

@jonneymendoza a) It's called a forum and FYI people come to forums to have a discussion.

b) I'm not hijacking every thread I've had the fortune to buy literally every flagship phone bar the Iphones so I'm well within my rights to discuss my experience of using these phones.

this was the info i found when looking around and given i will be keeping it in a case the new nicer finish wont bother me too much so im have the Z2 and waiting on the official white sony case to be delivered as im tired of black cases/phones getting lost on everything black.
