Doing a new gaming build soon.

I can get a Titan X for an outlay of £775 if I use my current corsair H55 and get a new n980 corsair bracket. Effectively doing a DIY AIO cooled Titan X for £775 (they cost £999 if bought pre built)

Or, I'd be looking to get the evga 980Ti hybrid, which is £600.

Which would you do?????

Currently gaming on the 1440p original rog swift, with thoughts to go 4K or big superwide possibly in the not too distant future. SLI is also always a possibility though I'd rather have one card at first.

Don't say wait for pascal either. It looks like the ones worth bothering with will be a year away at least people on here seem to be thinking. I'm not a mad GPU upgrader like many either. I like to get at least 2 years use plus if poss.

I've got a Titan X SuperClock that I bought the separate Hybrid cooler for and it works great. Temps depending on ambient are approximately 50 degrees and rig is a hell of a lot quieter :D

Had a Titan Black before and had a Kraken G10 bracket with AIO watercooler on and that was great also. Can highly recommend an AIO watercooler on a graphics card.

Yeah, I'm sold on AIO water coolers now for GPUs after trying an h55 and corsair n780 on one of my 780tis. I'm kind of surprised to see people recommending me the Titan X. I thought the 980ti was the new daddy and most consider the TX a waste...

980Ti with custom board/power delivery beats Titan X and as a plus you wont feel so ripped off.

6 vs 12gb of ram is just a ridiculous argument since most people have 4gb or less. No one is writing games that need more. By the time they do both the 980Ti and the Titan X will be too slow to run them.
