As a point of interest, the following information was included in the email by Seabiscuit:

Gordons Christmas apparently is

“Gordon Christmas is "the real beer for Father Christmas" originally brewed at the time of the First World War for British servicemen and the Belgians got a taste for it. Gordon Xmas initiated the tradition of Christmas brews. A strong dark and malty beer with a deep roasted malt flavour. Great to accompany your festive evenings.”

The pilot Christmas one, the Gordon's and the brewdog hoppy Christmas were the only ones I found, the rest were not particularly nice... Still drank em right enough!!

I came very close to choosing festive-ness too! Ended up going for the cairngorm one instead. Pleasantly surprised with it - expected something with spice/cinammon but it didn't actually have any traditional Christmas flavours so i quite enjoyed it.

The pilot one is 10%! Love my strong beers tbh went on a tasting at innis and gunn before Christmas and there were a couple of hefty ones!

My one was very nondescript. Just an easy drinking lager, seed like they forgot to make a Christmas bee and just threw a label on what they had to hand!

The goffs wasn't great, darker beer with lingering after tastes. It was drinkable for the pint, but not much afterwards!

Went onto Twisted Spire after that

I had no idea until someone pointed out the abv on the bottle. I also had a bottle of Santa Paws and that was lovely.
