But about £4/month for 2 of us.
Zero now, we get our water from a borehole.
The phone call telling Seven Trent they were no longer needed, ever again was great.
Surly you still need them and okay them for waste, or do you have a septic tank.
No idea, all bills included.

Christ, I didn't realize how bad rates are in cornwall till I saw this thread 
we're paying £90 odd a month for a three bed, just the two of us. Should be able to drop it to £40 a month once a meter is installed.

£54 a month no meter. 3 bed semi and just two of us. It was around £15 in our flat and we don't use any more water.
My water supply apparently can't be metered at street level as it's shared between my neighbour and I. Annoying.

Does installing a meter usually involve cutting a pipe?

Ta. Not sure if it would be possible for me then as I have a small access panel in a downstairs bathroom to access the pipe. Its around 20cm x 30cm.
