Agreed. It makes sense though right. If it is faster than a TX as claimed by nvidia, that would mean it is faster than a 980Ti. As the 980Ti costs over £500 it makes perfect sense that the 1070 should cost more

I would be very surprised if it ends up with a '5' in front of it. Given the US list price of $379/$449 we will end up with a UK around the same but in £ of course. I'm still thinking circa £400, not much less and not as high as the current 980Ti price. It seems a tricky situation though, what with the price of the 980Ti... will those suddenly drop by £100 or so overnight? Ultimately it will depend on the performance difference between the two.
