timing looks about right, fingers crossed!

That is the only laptop sold within a reasonable timeframe that is near the 850 mark. Everything else I found was 500ish etc, couple were 700 but had high feedback bidders etc. Most were cheap laptops.

OP could have not been honest about price though. :D

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Dell-XPS-...988331?hash=item236b88e26b:g:utAAAOSw9eVXU0AZ this was other one, but price is bit low. However buyer low feedback and left no feedback.

I found another one that went for 835 on the 19th, but seller had too much positive feedback for it to be a scam, gonna go back now and screenshot the entire thread for when it gets inevitably deleted, justice will be sweet if its true.

I've only searched used dell (OP stated earlier in thread it was a dell) laptops so far, UK only and sold listings. Maybe it was like new? ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh detective caps on boys. :D

Another one a little further back,

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Dell-Alienware-18-/252416042039?hash=item3ac52b2437:g:caMAAOSwnNBXVedW buyer 20 feedback, close to op's claim of 24, and person has not left feedback for laptop.

That guy who has a manager friend at eBay should take a look at all these auctions see if any were flagged as not received and had a case closed recently :D these are only two I found with low feedback bidders and within a recent time frame near to OP's claimed amount of 850.

I would if I was you, someone publically admitting fraud and then getting caught out by both paypal and the original buyer for it will be a fantastic read, hence screenshotting the entire thread so it can't be deleted.

what exactly is fraud? I will allow you to ridicule yourself with your reply.

Double dip is fraud? Surely keeping both pots and not refunding the buyer is not "nice" but considering you can't know if hes legit without meeting then..... but is it fraud?

Go ahead, explain to us son ;)

You admitted to wanting to try double dip brah....

LOL and that's fraud?. Why not double dip if courier can compensate me for losing my laptop? Not reimbursing the buyer is not fraudulent after all we buy and sell according to ebay policies. If they side with me then good! Buyer should sue ebay, not me.

I understand your point from a moral perspective not a legal one. I have done nothing illegal, I am just playing according to the cards am dealt just like Donald Trump does.
All I know is that I can't lose what I don't put in the middle.

Enough said

No answer to what I asked you, eh? ;) 1 - 0 to me.

Let me give you a 2nd chance. What have I done that's illegal and therefore would warrant the fraud remark you made?

I ask mods to step in here and suspend this gentleman for defaming me. How dare you call me a fraudster. Mods?

It was me that said it was fraud, not him.

Yes, claiming £850 from paypal and then another £850 from the courier company (a.k.a 'double dip' as you call it) is fraud. You've defamed yourself, you're borderline a liar and definitely profiteering from what at the moment appears to be someone elses misfortune.

You're a liar, a bad seller, and being the OCUK way you will inevitably get found out.

Why is double dip illegal if you have the legal right to do it? Again no one is answering to me.

Even yourself are not sure yet you are sure am scamming and hes not? You make 0 sense

I haven't yet claimed from both so.... ;)

yeah....you lot, good samaritans are so intelligent...am shivering from fear..... Bar a few posts all I see is "losery" here.

All I know is that I bought this laptop last year and already am losing a lot for what I sold it for. I am only fighting my corner, legally and shall refund the buyer within valid reason.

You dont have the legal right to double dip. You only have the right to persue someone for damages if you have actually suffered damages. You've not lost any money so putting in a claim for damages you havent suffered is fraud.

I think the mistake you made here is publicly posting that you are trying it on.

You can't have it both ways, if ebay have sided with you that means they believe it's been delivered. If you get compensation out of the postage company, that means it hasn't...

I think the reason some people are (rightfully) annoyed is that trying it on like this is just raising the prices of postage for everyone else.

If eBay sided with you, you've already received the money for the laptop, I can't see any logical reason other than being a douche to try and profit from the situation, this makes you no worse than the buyer you've already decided is a "scammer".
