Punching kids on public transport

'Did not read'
'Do not care what article actually says'

Article is actually just the vague words of a 17 year old with an iPhone though, it's not like there's a video and solid evidence apart from some kid with no future in an armlock

There are some awkwardly argumentative middle aged people who really shouldn't be around people honestly.

The child was a *****, but so was he.

It also features the British Transport Police.

'kid with no future', oh you're one of those people ;).

Anyone who thinks such action is acceptable should take a long hard look in a mirror and slap themselves senseless.

I do not find the reaction in 'here' that surprising, hitting children that do something you disagree with is perfectly fine, especially when they have 'no future'.

I find it staggering that nobody stepped in to help on the actual train and the attacker was able to leave. I've stepped in to worse stations on nights out/at Uni/out and about. Would have held the man and contacted the authorities.

They were all afraid of granddad's alphaness

You also said it is public transport, not personal transport. So why would you care that people have their feet up? If in your own words it is not personal, but public?

Its not THEIR seat to put there feat up on its everyone's, everyone's has a right to sit on a seat that's not covered in the mud and dirt from someones else feet do you not agree ?

It's actually good practise to do use something like an arm lock over say striking with a punch or a kick, it's why Jiu Jitsu is a fantastic martial art for Police and people who have to use restraints such as Mental health nurses. The arm lock the kid was in won't have been painful at all, he just won't have been able to move. Plus all we've seen so far is a picture, we don't know if the kid did anything else

The question is if he wasn't using it as a pain compliance technique then what was it's purpose.

Punching a child over it is not acceptable, nor is punching anyone over something so ridiculously trivial.

Their*.

I'm all for it.
Few years ago I was on train in Czech Republic and went to sleep by putting feet on empty seat opposite. Conductor went past. He went Ape****!!! Was going to kick me off train! Gf at time was Czech so was able to persuade him I was stupid, ignorant, rude Englishman!

I had a lot of respect for that. That respect is missing in England.

Except that was the conductor of the train you were on. You were not aged 8-11 and assaulted by a member of the public.

Why do people care if other people have their feet up anyway? If it isn't affecting you, why does it matter? I can't understand why people would get so upset over it.

Why should I care if someone is littering, stealing, abusing, raping, murdering? If it isn't inconveniencing me, why should I care?

We either live in a society or we live as individuals. If we're all just individuals, why should I pay into the welfare system etc?

It's all linked.

That I agree, and don't be a grammar Nazi, I noticed it and edited it even before you replied.

Would you not agree people should respect public spaces more for the next users sake ?
