quite sad really posting this now:( considering i start off with the old golden device from ninja micros all those years ago and now dont really stay on the scene due to financial and family constraints........any how...

just need a desktop to play minecraft well with no lag.....

im seriously not up to date with stuff...

would like something that could be upgraded at a later date if needed...

already decided on a ssd drive about 60gb and thats all thats needed...

other than that no idea what so ever.....

think i do have a old i3 530 laying around.....and motherboard..........would that be sufficient>? or i have a g3528 running at 4.3ghz i could use and then get myself something new if there is anyting around at that price?

The i3 will slay it. Make sure to stick at least 4gb with it. Then add practically any GPU from the last few years and it will be good. I built a pc for a friends daughter with a dual core athlon 64. 4gb ram and a GTS 8800. Runs it fine.

Cheers I'll dig out the i3 and see whats with it

any particular budget gpu i should aim for? they all seem uber dear these days lol

Not a bad deal that. If you could barter a little bit off of it then even better.

There not prepared to go anyb lower at all and tbh that motherboard still sells for stupid money

It is a good deal but you can build a full AM2 system with something like an R7 370 or top end APU for that kind of money.

got the i7 sh system in the end. im now trying to pair it with a half decent gfx card for about £100. then ill think about psu. hoping i can fit it all in a cooler master elite 120 case
