All Gears of War Nvidia codes revoked

So... NVIDIA punish all users rather than Amazon for Amazon's failure? GG WP
As I said earlier in this thread it ONLY affects amazon codes the developer already confirmed 3 days ago they revoked those codes:

"We detected some Gears 4 Windows 10 keys were obtained illegitimately via our NVIDIA promotion. We have gone ahead and revoked keys that fell in this bucket."
https://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showpost.php?p=30073297&postcount=14

To be fair as well anyone who bought a key and paid $10 for it surely knew it was most likely dodgy!

How is it dodgy if the code is authentic? Amazon is to blame here.

Selling something which was obtained by deception is the dodgy part. Nvidia have always turned a blind eye to extra keys being sold as the consumer has already paid full price for the card if they happen to buy more than 1 card they could not limit the purchase to 1 per customer no way to enforce it.

If all the people who bought the cards from amazon did not cancel to obtain more then this issue would never have happened would it! Its fully amazons fault to trust their customer to not be underhand I guess...........

Cause & effect.

so out of interest what does ocuk do different? I presume they give the key with the card. What happens if that key is used/sold and then the card is returned under DSR for a full refund?

They deduct the key value off the refund.

just ordered a card and the code is listed on the order email as FREE

£0.00 x 1 - FREE WITH GX-306-EA: NVIDIA Promotion: Gears of War 4 PC Game

so I dont think it would be legal to deduct anything other than £0.00, not sure how this would be dealt with.

im sure ocuk deduct cash from the games, if i remember right when i returned a pair of 970's £20 was deducted from the refund as i had already sold the game codes

Again legally I am not sure how that works if it says "gift" and value £0.00 on your invoice?
