CIA Prepping for Possible Cyber Strike Against Russia

If the USA was going to plan a cyber attack against russia... It would not be public knowledge..

I mean for **** sake there are these battlefields:
Naval
Air
Ground
Space
Cyber

Cyber is the most recent iteration and is a covert operation... There would NEVER be a public disclosed cyber attack by another country by the country posing the attack..

Even russia covers their attacks by pretending to be ISIS.

The thing really is how much notice there is - which there probably wouldn't be much of - if it escalates to a point of no return at a pace which gave a bit of notice then Russia could theoretically evacuate between 1/8th and 1/4th of its population to shelters while in this country people would be asking how to use a spade and wondering why our air defences had no ammunition.

You over-estimate russians... They are not a bunch of Ivan Drago's

I don't believe the story of nearly 40% of the population of the country practicing evacuation drills.. It is a ludicrous number that would have cost their weak economy billions.. Not to mention i have no seen a single confirmed personal account of a russian civillian confirming it.

If you actually go to the government info pages for it (don't think there is an English version) the "40 million" involved aren't doing anything as such - that part is described as involving:

-Case studies of how civilians react to the ongoing drills by professionals (some of which might involve unsuspecting bystanders)
-Handing out information packs and other public awareness campaigns
-Talks at schools/universities and the likes

However and while some might be done for the outward appearance - they have been putting significant efforts recently into reimplementing/updating the back end for evacuation procedures, reactivating, expanding or replacing bunkers and other underground systems like the metro stuff, etc. etc.

Be careful of under-estimating where they are - in the last 3-5 years they've made significant progress beyond what most people think compared to the old stereotypes.

You would need to be all kinds of stupid to think that an article from the Daily Star has anything of merit in it nor that an intelligence agency is going to inform the NBC news of a ******* covert operation. Seriously people get a grip.
 
Remember the NSA hacking tools being released a couple of months ago?

Then Russia banned microsoft software within government a month ago?

I imagine the russians were having some fun back at them with their own tools and america are having a good cry about it.

I hope people finally realise 99% of "news" is absolute BS propaganda. Even when they say "officials said". Excellent to see a 100% horse **** propaganda article being exposed with a single word.

What sort of an intelligence officials tell NBC NEWS (hahahaha) that they're planning COVERT action! :confused:

This isn't about Russia vs USA, this is about elite vs the citizens. Everybody knows society is on the brink of collapse and that media is doing it's damned hardest to orchestrate it. Things need to be blamed on foreign government instead of itself. Russia isn't the government that is enslaving the USA and milking it! When there is no more milking that can be done, society will finally collapse, the commencing of which will be prompted by an unrecoverable self-orchestrated destruction of the banking system as we know it, which will in all likelihood be blamed on a foreign entity and a "cyber attack".....

9/11 anyone? History always repeats itself.

More pathetic whining by the US. Probably motivated by trying to pass the buck for Clinton's email server debacle.

Just like them 'justifying' firing missiles into Yemen as self-defense after their ship was apparently fired at. Trying to whine about self defence when their ship is 10,000 miles from home and is very likely to be in the area assisting the Saudi's with their attacks on Yemen doesn't really make me sympathise with their position.
