i5 4670k @ 4.4 Ghz
16gb Dominator Platinum 1866 memory DDR3

Any upgrade that would be a benefit in gaming ?

Or should i just hold on to my money

Cheers.

Right now, nothing.

When the i7 7700k is available, it'll be mildly better.

If/when games use 6+ cores all the time, then Broadwell-E and Zen would be good upgrades. But for now that's not a concern.

Just to chime in with my two pence. I have a 3570k @ 4.4GHz and am noticing hitching in BF1. Mostly during screen changes rather than actual game play. This is paired with 16Gb of Ram and a 970 G1.

I'm kind of thinking its the CPU that's the issue.

And there isn't much in it between a 3570k and a 4670k.
