Hey guys, I've been tasked with finding a BI solution to integrate with SharePoint online, from what I've been told apparently it's possible to have built in 'apps' on SharePoint online lists and libraries. The client wants to display data from excel spreadsheets hosted on the site as real time graphs etc.

I've looked a few solutions, PowerBI, Dundas BI etc. but am struggling to find what I'm looking for, does anyone have any experience with this? If so, please could you advise the best path for me with this?

(Sorry if this is the wrong thread, it's a bit of an oddball question!)

Thanks!

Jamie

seeing as you've posted this in GD the only solution you've got is either liberal application of mustard or poo through the letterbox, sorry

Excel Online services can show data in graphs and pivot tables - but you need to ensure that the spreadsheet has a named table for that data so you can identify it.

Are the Spreadsheets uploaded to a document library? You can import a spreadsheet and it data into a list, but then users would need to use the list instead of the spreadsheet.

PM me, i might be able to help further. I administrate SharePoint and Office 365 where I work, and look into business cases for new implementations - so might be able to point you in the right direction! :)
