Hi there

MSI have supported OcUK and reacted to the Asus cashback and done us a double discount scheme, so we get NVIDIA discount and then a further discount from MSI, which has resulted in some totally fantastic deals! Namely EK cooled 1080 and 1070 with £150-£200 savings. :D

They all have FREE NEXT DAY DPD Shipping and all come with NVIDIA BE THE HERO Promotion!

Your move ASUS

Keep em coming ;)

This is in reaction to Asus cashback. ;)

Asus won't move any more because since their Strix 1080 hit £530 with cashback we are selling 50 per day just at OcUK so for Asus they are killing it.

But the MSI EK and Corsair cooled cards are insanely cheap.

Our Bolton competitor is £100-£200 more expensive than OcUK! :D

I bought a gaming X on launch at £519 so not impressed tbh.

That launch price was based on a 1.46 dollar rate.

If the pound strength was still that today you'd be paying £400 !

As such in todays climate the prices are very good, a lot has happened to the economy since launch.

I know, I was just passing comment :P

I think i saw the card almost hit £700 once.

Interested in the 1070s.
What's the difference between the Quicksilver and the Gaming X 1070? They seem to have the same specs, but the Quicksilver is ~£40 cheaper.

Quicksilver is actually superior card as its based on the £450 Gaming Z model!
If you look at competitors you will see they are £430 - £500 on the QuickSilver, OcUK has the best price on this card because I made a deal with MSI allowing us to sell a lot lower than competitors.

They are selling quick and once they are gone our pricing shall be same as competitors so around £430.

Thanks :)
Currently have an MSI 780 which has been 100% solid for nearly 4 years, so I'm happy to go MSI again.

£559 gaming x 1080

£699 MSI FE 1080ti

Hmmm...

Surely at this tier £140 is worth it....

I think all 1080 should be sub 500 now imo...

OK I want an MSI 1080. I plan to watercool it. Should I buy the Seahawk with built in watercooler? Or one of the others (Armor? Aero?), and fit my own? If so, why...and which one is best if I'm fitting my own?
