it looks impressive but he was actually pretty slow.when that was released i did a run straight after and beat it by about 9 seconds and that wasnt a perfect run.it does hightlight though how good and realistic it is.

true, some of the lines taken in fast game runs no real rally driver would take, or at least all the ones that would are sadly no longer with us.

Yeah ive seen some of the blokes on here absolutely smash this. Really is pretty slow in terms of the top leagues but fast compared to the average joe

This games actually easier to be fast with a joypad rather than a wheel imo, especially if you're using direct drive with ffb turned up etc.

Yeah he made it look smooth, maybe not the fastest but impressive nonetheless
I just dont enjoy the game on a gamepad, a large part of the fun of it is having that immersion factor of playing with wheel, pedals and gear stick.
As much as i love Dirt Rally, I'd play it a lot more if i had space to have the wheel setup permanently but unfortunately at the moment thats not achievable, and its such an effort to set up the wheel every time i want to play it.
I am looking forward to the next one though!
