Cosplaying idiot at Birmingham airport.

Mental... I wouldn't want to walk 5 minutes up the road in that getup, let alone through a busy transport hub. Lucky he didn't get more than words thrown his way.

LOL! How can someone be so disconnected.
I know, right.
It's not as if a grown adult like, say, an actor in Lord of the Rings, would ever walk down a high street in costume, swinging a longsword around absent-mindedly.....

People don't always think.

I thought basements were an American thing...
Nope.
Reading and certain parts of London are famed for their basement-level properties... mainly when they flood.

Wanna get shot?

Cause this is how you get shot....

It's up there with stupidity of swatting twitch streamers. In fact a guy recently was actually shot due to swatting... he didn't die but I remember saying long ago it's a matter of time before someone becomes a victim.

I think he meant that basement was an American word. In the UK we call them cellars.
Cellar? No no, Barclay, that's where you keep the wine... :D

"In British English, the word "basement" is used for underground floors of, for example, department stores, but the word is only used with houses when the space below their ground floor is habitable, with windows and (usually) its own access. The word cellar or cellars is used to apply to the whole underground level or to any large underground room. A subcellar is a cellar that lies further underneath".

Which is why they're referred to as Basement Property on the address lists.

What an idiot.

Was he looking for a possible early end . Who in their right mind would think that's a suitable thing to do.

The guy us lucky that it was the UK and not USA. He probably would have been showered in lead over there.

There is actually a video of people trolling outside a prison over there in plate carriers and IIRC AR-15s, total bells but they didn't end up shot - which was less than they deserved.

There's several States in the US that allow "open carry" of weapons which can be a little odd to see but they're usually holsters or slung over their backs rather than being hand held.

There are restrictions though, and airports fall under those restrictions. And those complete ****tards who open carry slung ARs and AKs, just because they can, do more harm than good for the pro-firearms lobby. Carrying a pistol is fair enough, but walking around the streets with a full on modified 'tacticool' AR is borderline autism.
