The last episode though  he runs across half the north, they send a raven Across half the realm, she then flies up all over the course of an evening

I'm still enjoying it but that was just stupid.

He didn't run across half the north, the undead army was (as seen in the vision in the flames by the hound previously) by East Watch, they went to East Watch and then walked around and found them... he just ran a relatively short distance, directly back to East Watch.

Likewise Jon Snow got back there pretty quickly on his Uncle's horse.

^^ What with nobody of any importance dying recently, it's blatantly going to be Tyrion. That's who my money is on.

I think thats actually a possibility, could be that all the talk in this episode between Tyrion and Dany about heroes and how Tyrion is a hero in his own way etc , is a form of foreshadowing

No chance, biggest character of the show? He ain't going anywhere.
Up until this season GoT has been famous for killing off the "most important" characters. Hadn't you noticed it's not happened so far this season? If there's one thing the producers want to emulate from GRRM it's that shock of killing off everyone's favourite character, surely?

I thought they did that with the dragon kill

The dragon is a huge kill. Tyrion said all rulers need to use some fear, and the dragons are what make leaders afraid of Danny.

She had three, unstoppable beasts that could take the throne almost on their own. Only now they are killable. Do not only had she lost a child, she could lose the legends of her hereditary.

well it is certainly an equaliser if/when that undead army gets past the wall - now we know the white walkers have some viable air defence and an undead dragon to use against them things have gotten a bit more difficult, previously you might imagine that she could simply fly over the entire hoard with all three and just make continuous runs obliterating them all with fire, the threat has stepped up a notch

also, re: a possible way past the wall

in spoiler tags as based on something not obvious

the dragon could be key, ironically her rescue mission might have put the whole realm in danger, the intro sequence to each episode seemingly has the sea frozen neat east watch yet it is still apparently normal sea in the last episode. I'm wondering if an undead dragon spits out ice cool breath instead of fire... could that freeze the sea and allow them to walk around for an end of season cliff hanger?

ooo nice theory. That is what the hound saw in his vision wasn't it (them going around the wall)?

Really what Dany should have done, is just flown her 3 dragons straight at the Night King and fire him as soon as she arrived.

I was saying that to my friend while watching the episode... "WTF she could end the whole thing now, take them all out!" then again if she'd attempted that then maybe it would have been her dragon getting shot down.

I thought that was a fairly common theory? Regardless, it would be a let down if it where to happen. If that wall doesn't;t come down next episode, I'll be sorely disappointed.

As a book reader, I feel a little sad at the lack of Dragon Binder and Horn of Winter in the show. I'd have thought they'd be nifty ways to get around two massive issues the 'antagonists' face.

The masks that Sansa found look very familiar especially the 1st one. I think she's already got rid of Little Finger

You reckon? I think killing him off screen would be a huge disservice to the fans, considering how popular of a character he is. I've no doubt he'll die next episode though. It's clear they have no idea what to do with him now.

My money is on all of them copping it other than John with him being saved by his uncle.

Someones read some spoilers :D

great, thanks for confirming that one guys, well before the episode even aired...

Yup, whether or not the first poster was actually giving a theory of their own or disguising an out and out spoiler as a theory the 2nd poster pretty much confirmed it as going to happen. #golfclap
The Dragon getting taken down by the NK was also spoiled by some oddball despite about 5 posts saying even hinting if the episode was good or not wasn't allowed.

Bran has been a bit quiet of late, my thought is that the undead armies Dragon might end up been taken over by Bran at some point if required.

I have enjoyed the fast pace element of this series, even if it has meant that things are slightly congested/dodgy timelines it just feels we could have been at this point a couple of series ago, In the end its not a documentary or based on real events.

Hoping Tyrion doesnt get killed off at the end of this season as enjoy his character.

Im wondering if Aryia has been switching between Little Finger and Sansa whilst she has been at winterfell?

I thought the night king was impervious to fire?
