Well what plots can you possibly desire now?

It'd just be 13 episodes of "DA NURF" battles, i guess they could do a last stand at Kings Landing it'd at least make the Warlock vision useful, not sure it can fit into 13 episodes though... I suppose they could do something with magical orifice Melissandre in Volantis.

There is plenty of stuff that deserves proper wrap up, I'm not sure if 13 episodes wouldn't be too short - in fact the entire plot penned by the guys behind S07 is now is so plain and "carpet play" simple, that across this season speculations/fan fiction fake spoilers from various forums were heavens better and more exciting than what we witnessed on the screen.

Reading this post hurts my head but i am intrigued as to what it actually means? Someone please assist?
Pretty obvious, if you read it?

Every scene with Littlefinger has a raven, so it's theorised that Bran had seen all of LF's shenanigans (throughout season 7).

Thanks. It was this bit that made my mind boggle "S7 there are ravens loitering around as them squawking was annoying their girlfriend.".

So what was the nightkings plan to get through/over the wall without the dragon. Been marchning on it for ages, must have had some plan before a dragon conveniently gets delivered to him.

Maybe he had no plan, except that one - that scene was a trap, he knew JS was there, it's quite obvious they waited for JS's reinforcements...

So how did he know the reiniforcements would be a dragon? Leaving them on the ice as a trap to wait for reinforcements fine, doesn't mean reinforcements would be a dragon.

So the nightkings plan from day 1 to get through the wall was:

Build an army
Somehow know that eventually some idiots will decide to try and capture a wight and take it back to the otherside.
Trap them somehow and wait for reinforcements.
Those will definitely come and will definitely include a dragon.
Burn down the wall.

How old do you think the Night King is? He has existed for long enough to know that dragons exist. I thought that was quite an easy junction to make but maybe I'm wrong. Did nobody else think this?

Translation: the person that noticed the Ravens did so because it annoyed their girlfriend

I can buy he knows dragons at some point exisited. But if the plan was always to use the dragon, even if you accept he knows about the exisitence of dragons, the entire plan hinges on someone sending a dragon as reinforcements.

It's believed he has powers like Bran, likely more potent.

The way I see it, for mankind to have defeated the undead in the past they must have used dragonglass and dragons. Dragonglass implies hand to hand combat, but with a wall between them, a dragon seems like an obvious defensive weapon given the size of area it can obliterate. The Night King would therefore be naiive not to have a plan in place to defend against a dragon, given he most probably has faced them in the past.

I wonder how much of the rebellion was brushed from history though.

Clearly the Grand Maester was told to shut up (if he wasn't killed), but a good historian never listens to tyrants, so i imagine it's just due to Roberts affection towards Lyanna? that started it all... but why the hell would the Starks follow him for that?

The only rational reality is that they still saw the mad king as a good enough reason to end cordial relations, and everything else was just fluff to make the rebellion seem like a good thing.

Because they thought their family member had been kidnapped.
