Sony are planning on making a film based on The Settlers of Catan.

Story here.

This could be the start of a franchise.

Bit early to comment but I assume they are going for Game of Thrones type medieval setting or something...

Wonder what it would do to sales of the game?

I don't understand how this could actually be made into a film.
The game doesn't have that much plot to it.
