Does Ultrawide lend itself well to FPS titles?
21:9 - 2560 x 1080 @34" - Daily use?

If you mean First Person Shooters, then most definitely, they seem almost tailor made for this format.

I have both a 1080 & 1440 UW 35/34" displays and I've swapped between them and had them above below each other ay various times. You get used to what's in front of you pretty quickly and I had no problem using the 2560x1080 resolution on a daily basis for light stuff like browsing with two pages side by side.
The 1440 was further in the pixels too small category then the 1080 was in the pixels too big so I tend to use 125% scaling on the 1440 monitor and keep the 1080 @ 100%. Though 90% could help a little to fit two pages fully side by side with less scrolling.
Just out of interest I had a 40" UHD monitor before both and that actually had the best PPI sat at a reasonable distance. it was big though and ultimately I wanted a 100 Hz 1440 monitor for gaming.

that would be the same PPI as a your 3840x1440 UW - 110PPI

Probably another reason i ended up with the 1440 monitor then. Similar pixels but a bit more practical with a higher refresh.
