Booked it for a set of Tein Flex Z coilovers to be fitted and will probably get the EDFC kit for it after I've stripped the car this winter.
Unless my gearbox needs several £*000s of attention before then :p

Got rid of the wife's old knackered S-Max yesterday which freed up some space on the driveway so figured it was time to bring my old car back home - I've had it dumped in my work's car park for the last 3 months.

Got the train into work (Bracknell, which is a pain in the **** from Portsmouth) and drove it back but it seems it wasn't too happy about it. It was fine for 19 miles then all of a sudden the traction control light kept coming on every time I put the accelerator down and it had no power. Pulled off the A31, turned it off and on again and it was fine for the last 40 miles, bizarre.

Nope thick as paint buhahahaha Magic sticky clutch was fixed with just that lol.

Waiting for Michellin to start producing PS4's on 18 rim size same as My mate in BMW i140 . Too addictive Pilot sports are :D

Today..
Took my car to a garage to investigate a wheel bearing whine, only to find out its the rear diff:eek:
Anyone know of a bmw diff specialist in the west mids?

Got a quote for new diff fitted at £2200:mad:
Saved up and took my car for the diff replacement as above , at a bmw specialist.
Asked them to do a double check of what the other garage had said (diff) and turned out to be a wheel bearing.
The same bloody thing i asked the other garage to check out. Thats the good news.

The bad news was that i also needed to new driveshafts and all 4 shocks. Parts and labour rolled in at £1700, £70ph labour.
Saved the money so saw it as a £500 saving, all fixed now and silent.

Was about to go to the BTCC, heard my front lip scrape pulling off the drive (doesn't usually happen), thought maybe I just came down a bit quick, then noticed it pulling to the right before I'd even made it out my street.

Less than a week old!
