Southsea is perfectly fine, I spent 3 crazy years there at uni and loved it.
Never experienced much in the way of crime so can’t comment but I can’t imagine it’s any worse than other cities tbh.

Haha, that and the Apple store are the only reasons I’ve been to Southampton in the last three years.

But I stand corrected, Southampton is clearly superior.
