the worst keynote I've seen since Windows 8. at this price they won't sell in volume. NV already know that. they are waiting to get rid of 10 series, then i think they will drop $200.

I think Nvidia is trying to actually direct gamers into this Ray tracing thing as a long term game. Ray tracing is going to tank our frames and cost the earth. they will be able to milk us for decades. But its a huge risk. If AMD come in now with a fast but "normal" card at a reasonable price. Nvidia are in big trouble.

Given this is an enthusiast based forum and the resounding results of this poll, I’d say “Well played Nvidia, you’ve absolutely nailed this launch!” :p

The question is about 2080 Ti, though. It is normal that 1% of the people will buy it anyways... Most will look for 2060...

I can't believe after all the complaints about pricing during the mining boom that people are actually going to tolerate and ever support these insane prices.

Congratulations, you've proved to Nvidia that you will pay ANYTHING they want.

Pretty much as I suspected. Prices will initially be obscene to make the old cards look good value, will drop a little more when the old stock is gone, and a bit more prior to the launch of the next cards, perhaps quicker than the previous gen.

We’ll never see prices as low as prior to the mining boom/ram gouging.

Do we know if the ti is the full fat chip? If not expect an RTX Ultra or whatever some time soon ish.

I had similar thoughts. They've gone all in. And now we need to start at the bottom and climb up again, whilst paying more than before.

AMD need to release something big earlier next year, none of this new tech and just do great at the old way.

Too much bacon... Might have bitten at the £700-800 or so mark after much consternation.

Will wait to see what the next year or two brings in regards to 7nm from AMD and Nvidia. My main problem will be if the next gen of VR headsets launches in the mean time as that will no doubt leave me wanting a GPU upgrade.

I hope everyone that has said no stays true to their word. We need to show Nvidia this is not acceptable! The last great Ti launch imo was the 980 Ti
